Kind of a bummer for Luigi that he’s relegated to a post-launch minigame, but at least he’s arrived eventually to the party. Still, there are going to be a lot of Luigis in a lot of levels so this should keep players occupied for a while. But Nintendo has been doing more DLC lately, like we saw with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, so I am a bit surprised we’re only getting very minor updates for Mario. A lot of features are missing and there are many bugs. I know that many players are hoping that Nintendo will eventually add some DLC to the game that includes more moons to hunt down in new worlds, but there have been no announcements or even hints of that nature so far. This update was announced way back in January during a Nintendo Direct, but it may not be the last one, as Nintendo has promised more costumes to come, and perhaps, more minigames. The update also comes with a few new filters for photo mode. This covers the whole story, all kingdoms and bosses of the game. There’s another suit for Mario, there’s a sunglasses and sun shirt outfit, and there’s a full knight in armor costume that I am guessing is going to be pretty pricey.
